Well it would shut off, but the radiator cooling fan kept running. I initially thought a relay and figured it was one in the relay box under the hood. I got home from work and took a look. Fan was still running, opened the hood and started looking at the relays. No relay, but a fuse. So I pulled the fuse and it killed the fan.
Therelay box under the hood has a radiator fan relay location.. however, no wires run to it and no relay is in it. When I bought the coolant fan relay from autozone it wasn't what I expected. I've been chasing a cooling fan problem for six months now. The one that shows up on Autozone's website is not the one for the PDC. There is also a
Atthis point I also noticed the cooling fan was no longer working and i suspected rhe a/c had gone bad . Which just upset me because it all only happened when the transmission flush was performed . I would also like to know where the relay for that radiator fan is located and how to know if it's functioning properly or at all. 2017

Relay is located in the Power Distribution Center near the battery. 1997-2001, pull the wire plug from the Coolant Temperature Sensor, the fan should run (the check engine light will come on - no worries it will go off by itself). 1997-1998, turn on the A/C, and the fan should run.
